Patna Marathon 2024, will commence on 1st Dec, 2024 from Bihar’s iconic GANDHI MAIDAN ( Gate No. 1). The route of this marathon is well illuminated, well paved and with negligible traffic spanning across Loknayak Ganga Path (Marine Drive) to Atal Path. The race will commence from around 5:00 a.m. and will be supported by volunteers who would be taking care of all the needs of participating athletes. This year’s Patna Marathon consists of several race categories:

Starting from-

  • 5-km category with cut-off timing of 1 hr.
  • 10-km category with cut-off timing of 2 hrs.
  • Half Marathon (21.1)-km category- with cut-off timing of 3.30 hrs.
  • Full Marathon (42.2)-km category-  with cut-off timing of 6.30 hrs.

Throughout the marathon route, medical tents and essential services will be provided. Integrity for us holds primordial importance, hence the athletes will be running in a transparent manner with chip enabled BIB’s to avoid any illegitimate athlete or persons along the route. The route will be under surveillance throughout the event and proper steps will be imposed so as to adhere to the rules and norms of the marathon.
